Hello

My name is Amy Peavey and I help medical assistants and EMT's build real confidence in their IV and blood draw skills—so they can stop second-guessing and start thriving. With hands-on coaching and insider tips from my years in the field and ER, I make sure they're not just competent, but proud of how they show up for their patients.

Work

I bring the class to your clinic—no extra travel or hassle. During lunch hour, we cover tough sticks, tricky veins, and real talk about mindset and confidence. Everyone gets hands-on practice with live sticks—on me and each other—and leaves with at least one (minimum) successful draw under their belt. Classes are small (up to 6), so everyone gets kind, ego-free, focused support and real wins.

About

I’ve spent over 15 years in the chaos and calm of emergency medicine—working 911, providing ground transport for flight teams, and hanging on for dear life in a Level 1 Trauma ER in Denver. These days, I live in the Boulder mountains with my husband, two awesome sons, and our wild cat Stella. I’m a big fan of scary movies, thrift store treasure hunts, and yelling at the TV during Formula 1 races.
While I don’t really miss the chaos of the ER, I do miss helping others and teaching—and this new chapter lets me do both. The medical field can be brutal, and confidence doesn’t always come easily, especially when things go wrong. But learning how to bounce back, believe in yourself, and keep going—that matters just as much as skill. In a career where egos run high and pressure runs deep, solid support can make all the difference.
